We are recruiting new volunteers for our home repair team! Habitat for Humanity will partner with homeowners to alleviate critical health and safety issues and complete needed home improvement projects. As a volunteer in home repair, you may assist in projects such as roofing, building ramps, flooring, etc. No experience is needed! We will teach you everything you need to know on-site.
Requirements to be a regular construction volunteer:
- Must commit to 3-4 volunteer shifts per month
- Shifts are available Monday-Thursday (locations vary across the Portland region)
- 7:30am-3pm (No half-day shifts available at this time)
- 6 month commitment minimum
- Complete a background check and new volunteer orientation
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19

Description
Habitat for Humanity Portland Region serves Multnomah County, east Washington County, and northern Clackamas County and has the ability to reach out to families one step away from homelessness. Habitat sells homes to hardworking people in need of decent, affordable housing. We are an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a non-denominational Christian housing ministry and global home-building movement. We welcome people from all walks of life to partner with our program to serve families in need with generosity, humility, and love.
