ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Northern Colorado Services

Colorful Hands

There are several Larimer County nonprofits that want to provide comprehensive companion animal resources, services, and education to the community to prevent homelessness and promote the human-animal bond. Volunteering will also help the community that needs help with their loving pet but cannot provide all of the services.

In addition, you may like to work with horses and help in equestrian therapeutic riding. Be a part of the Barn Team or Side walker for Vets and those with disabilities.

The AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program specializes in placing adults age 55+ into service in their community. Let us help you find your best fit and connect you to an agency where you'll find purpose and meaning in your work. Volunteers support a variety of causes, including elderly care, food and housing insecurity, disaster relief support, animal care, cultural interests and more. Benefits include personalized placement assistance, free training, community events, and insurance. Join us today!
