Most Campground Hosts on the Chippewa National Forest love their jobs and come back year after year. Occasionally, we have an opening at one or more of our campgrounds. Camp hosts make friends with the campers and get together with other camp hosts at a pre-season meeting and an awards day. Some become life-long friends and picnic and fish together. We appreciate our hosts and reimburse some of the cost to stay in a campground (currently $20/day seven days a week) beyond providing a free campsite, showers, and laundry. Please email: michelle.heiker@usda.gov for more information on openings and if you would like more information.
