Mission Statement
We are a community and facility based hospice care program delivering quality comfort care and support to end stage patients and their family members. Compassionate care focused on integrity of the human being is our main objective. We listen, empathize, and offer services that bring quality of life, and support the uniqueness of every patient's life long journey. We are looking for volunteers able to hold a hand, read a book, listen to a life story, or offer comfort that brings joy to someone else. Perhaps your skills are making crafts, blankets, or socks. Whatever you have to contribute, you will find a program ready to greet you as a member of a team where everyone counts.
Description
As a volunteer of PruittHealth Hospice you can expect to be provided education, information, and support while developing yourself as the team contributor you want to be. We offer opportunities for office work, events planning, patient/family visitations, and the delivery of donated handmade gifts. Our goal is to make someone's day a little brighter, lighter, and special. We do this by working together as a team, and devising comprehensive treatment plans that alleviate stressors, and give patients/families peace and comfort.
