GradeAPlus academic support and enrichment programs strive to make academic success accessible to 3rd-12th grade students through after school tutoring and enrichment opportunities. Collaborating with college student and community volunteers, the program supports young learners and their families throughout the school year with four weekly sessions.

​We are seeking 40 volunteers in the areas of:

  • Academic tutors (20)
    • Math
    • Writing
    • Science
    • History
  • MathUp! (5)
  • Enrichment leaders (10)
    • Positive Youth Development/skill enhancement program partners
  • Community Readers (5)
We appreciate any time you can commit to our programs. Volunteers who participate in GradeAPlus programs can choose one day a week to serve in one of the four positions throughout the Fall, Spring and Summer terms.

Description

Grade A Plus, Incorporated offers Academic Support and Enrichment programs to youth in Mid-Missouri by fostering a connection to the community through service and learning. The programs encourage students to learn through academic curiosity and build their confidence in and out of school.
