Call for Volunteers
As the only gathering of its kind for the dance community in the metropolitan New York City area, the Dance/NYC Symposium aims to share information, innovation, and to stimulate awareness, interest, and ongoing engagement in dance and dance education. The 2022 Symposium is a hybrid event, convening on a digital conference platform with three in-person offerings at Hunter College. The Symposium digital platform features video live-streaming, speaker and audience engagement, a community bulletin board, and sponsor opportunities. The three-day event includes virtual panel discussions, interactive workshops, expert consultations, a virtual service fair and in-person keynotes.
In exchange for their commitment, all volunteers will receive complimentary access to the event, which includes: panel discussions, advising sessions with arts and legal consultants, training workshops, volunteer t-shirts, and more!
Training provided for all roles and responsibilities. No previous experience necessary.
