Office Volunteer - Kindful Hospice office in Marlow, OK:
We invite you to join our excellent team of Hospice Volunteers! YOUR POSITIVE ATTITUDE and OFFICE SKILLS are needed! If you want to enjoy a great experience clerically supporting our staff and patients in a pleasant atmosphere, please contact us NOW!
You can make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families. We are looking for those special and wonderful folks who would like to serve as Office Volunteers, based on their particular time preferences. Some examples include preparing gift baskets for patients and their families, putting up supplies once they're delivered, making copies, assembling materials, assisting with bereavement activities such as preparing bereavement baskets, writing and mailing cards to patients, and learning what hospice care is all about.
Volunteering for hospice is one of the most fulfilling ways to positively impact our patients' lives, and the blessings come back to you as well! You'll also enjoy getting to know our office specialist, and staff members - our registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, aides, social worker, chaplain, and volunteer coordinator. Kindful Hospice serves older adults, the chronically ill, the seriously ill, and their families. Seriously ill patients and their families are always the center of our focus. Volunteers are a key and necessary part of hospice care, providing companionship, utilizing their talents in ways they feel most comfortable and within time frames that work well for each of them. People who volunteer truly give from the heart, and they are purpose driven, successful individuals. Serving as a hospice volunteer can certainly be one of the most meaningful experiences a person can have. Please join our team! Kindful has offices across Oklahoma, and our focus in the Western Region includes Chickasha, Marlow, Duncan, Lawton, and everything in between - we need volunteers in all of these areas to touch the lives of our patients and bring them joy.

- Kindful Hospice prefers to work with a volunteer's particular schedule, when he or she is available!
- TB Test is required. Vaccines for Influenza (Flu) and Hepatitis-B are optional. All are provided by Kindful Hospice. If the volunteer has already had any of these, we would require a copy. All such immunizations are effective for one year.
