NextUp is seeking an Executive Co-Chair position in the Pennsylvania Region. This is a Volunteer role leading a non-profit board, will serve the region membership and lead a team of regional volunteers.

Volunteer Role Requirements:

• Passionate about NextUp’s mission & developing teams
• Actively employed professional who can gain support of your company’s leadership in support of your involvement.
• Currently leading a team and have demonstrated leadership results utilizing influence and inspiration
• Based in the greater metropolitan area where this role serves.
• Attend the Annual Region Leaders Forum (in-person or Virtual)
• Commit to a minimum 2-year term.

Skillsets:

• Strong strategic planning ability to develop sustainable growth
• Proven growth track record and results oriented
• Strong financial acumen with experience in strategic action planning & tracking
• Executive presence with C-Suite leaders and influencers in industry sectors NextUp serves & local community - ability to promote NextUp within local media channels

Key Duties:

• Leads the development process of 2-year Regional Growth Strategy
• Responsible for appointing Region Officer Team (unless Region is under formation)
• Ensure succession planning and proactive recruiting takes place with goal of zero vacancies at Board, Advisor & Committee Leader Level
• Actively Coach & Develop Board Officers 1:1 as part of succession planning
• Delivers AOP (Annual Operating Plan) in collaboration with NextUp HQ & Region Board Officers - defining success metrics and goals. Completion by Mid Oct of each year.
• Prioritizing inclusive mindset and leader representation in Officer and Committee Leader selection
• Build support within local community amongst influential leaders - creating new alliances and support for NextUp.
