Heart 'n Home Hospice needs volunteers who are dedicated to patients and their families throughout end-of-life care.
Tasks include, but are no limited to the following:
* Simple care for the patient to allow the caregiver to run errands or take a break
* Simple companionship
* Reading to a patient, finding and delivering books from the library
* Crafts/Art/Music with or for the patient
* Baking treats or cooking meals for the patient in-home
* Leading Bible study/prayer
* Light cleaning/Housework
* Yard work/Snow Shoveling
* Pet care
* Letter-writing for patient
* Running errands for patient
* Playing Games/Watching Movies
* Assembling a Memory Box
* Compiling a Life Story
* Sewing Memory Bears
* Tuck-in-Calls
* Fundraising
* Administrative Work
* Events
* Recruitment
18 years-old minimum to work in patient's homes, 16+ may have a parental waiver to do other administrative work.

Welcome to Heart 'n Home Emmett! Our Emmett team provides compassionate, end-of-life care to patients and their families in Gem County as well as Horseshoe Bend in Boise County. As a hospice and palliative care provider in Emmett, we have the privilege and honor of providing care and support to patients and their families at one of the most difficult times of their lives.
