Send Cards of Encouragement and Hope #MLK

AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP is partnering with Revive and Thrive Project to collect cards of encouragement for individuals and families in our community who are dealing with an acute health challenge such as cancer, heart failure or organ transplants. These households often have other barriers to healing and thanks to Revive and Thrive Project are able to receive 12 weeks of nourishing, free, home-delivered meals to help them heal.

It's already been a long winter and isolating especially for those vulnerable to COVID complications due to a health crisis such as cancer, organ transplants, congestive heart failure and other conditions. A few encouraging words from you are sure to brighten their day and go a long way to helping reduce their isolation and boost their mood.

Draw a picture, include a quote, introduce yourself. Be creative, encouraging and positive. Write from the heart, or use some of the example messages below. RSVP has cards and envelopes available upon request.
