LEAD A SOCIAL IMPACT PROJECT

YCore is now searching for Project Leads to lead a project with a nonprofit in their local city. YCore is a social impact program for young professionals. Impact your community, gain hands-on nonprofit experience, expand your network and build your impact toolbox-all outside of work.

You are right for this position if you...

  • Can take initiative and are excited to help us build out this program in their community
  • Know your city well, and have ideas for recruitment as well as nonprofits we can reach out to.
  • Want to be part of a 500+ community

You will...

  • Partner with a local nonprofit to identify and scope a strategically significant, capacity-building project
  • Lead a team of 3-4 peers as they execute the project over the course of 4 months.
  • Grow your project management and leadership skills.
  • Build strong relationships in the nonprofit sector and join a lifelong community of like-minded changemakers and friends.
  • Learn fundraising by meeting a $2000 financial commitment to YCore. We give you all the tools to succeed; no previous experience necessary.

Time Commitment

  • 1-2 hrs/week for the 3-month scoping period
  • 5 hrs/week for the 4-month project period including bi-weekly project lead check-ins
