Camp Host
ORGANIZATION: National Park Service
Please visit the new page to apply.
Yosemite Volunteer Program is seeking an experienced Camp Host Couple in Yosemite Valley for the month of January. Full RV hookups are available.
Campground Hosts are hired through the Volunteers-In-Parks (VIP) program and are a valuable asset to the park’s campground operation. Major duties and requirements of Campground Host positions are listed below. On occasion, hosts assist in other areas of the park. Hosts are not required to take on law enforcement issues, however they do serve as very important eyes and ears of the campgrounds and aid in reporting any problems or situations to park rangers. Most of all, Yosemite’s Campground Hosts ensure that park visitors have as safe and enjoyable a visit as possible, and in the process, have an enjoyable time themselves!
