Laurel Volunteer Fire Department Station 10

Prince George’s County volunteer firefighters/EMTs

  • Maryland fire stations are volunteer-based
  • We serve over 900,000 citizens and account for 75% of the county’s Fire and EMS personnel
  • Our Company motto "Service for Others" emphasizes giving back to the community in the greater Laurel area. Members should be dedicated, motivated, and professional
  • You will feel a great inclusion and belonging from this small but lovely community

Our volunteer program could provide benefits in joining the station such as serving the community and providing gateways to potential career choices in the medical field via accumulating volunteer hours, medical/clinical hours for going into medical fields, etc. I believe our volunteer opportunities would be a good fit and option for the people looking to serve the community, gain clinical experiences (pre-medical students, paramedics, physician assistants, etc), career options, and experiences in the fire service (fire-fighter or EMT). Environment: We have a diverse community of EMTs and firefighters at station 10. The services at the fire and EMS service is not limited to only people who have certain professional licenses. It is suitable for the general public--As long as you work hard and have the passion to serve, you can be one of the members at the station.
