We welcome men and women who have served in the military to join us in caring for our veteran patients. This is a great opportunity to sit by another veteran and share stories, memories and develop a friendship with them. Your life experience serving our country could really brighten someone's day!
We have opportunities throughout Cuyahoga and Summit Counties where we can match you with patients who are veterans. We want volunteering to be easy and convenient for your schedule so we are willing to work with your time commitments to make this a valuable experience. You do not need Hospice experience, we will provide training.
Hospice is not about giving up on life; we celebrate life! We strive to enhance the quality of our patients' days by giving comfort, peace, presence and dignity. Would you help us enrich the lives of our patients who are veterans and affirm their life of service?

Volunteers are valued members of the Bella Care Hospice team. You can make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families while adding meaning to your own life. Help with administration in one of our 5 offices or visit patients in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and patient homes across 25 counties in Ohio. Volunteers can do a variety of activities with patients such as reading, listening, hand holding, praying, painting their fingernails, doing crafts, singing, brushing their hair, pet therapy, massage therapy and more!
