Work Description: 

Finish-Well Ministries, Inc. Is searching for skilled volunteers, diverse in educational background(s). The Program Support Volunteer(s) will develop and assist in the creation of a variety of different task, such as templates, documents, activities, and tools to support program development deliverables.

Information Related to the Job Description:

  • The position is unpaid. (Volunteer)
  • Training will be provided.
  • Deadline-driven team player with multitasking abilities.
  • If seeking credit or practicum hours, additional documents will be required.
  • Positions allow flexible work schedules.
  • All volunteer hours will be conducted remotely.
  • Can be time-sensitive depending on funding deliverables.

Budget Planning Project

Finance, Business, or accounting background or major

  • Determine Implementation Cost
  • Develop Program Budget
  • Conduct research on pricing for program items and activities
  • Determine implementation costs-based activities and schedule.
  • Assist in developing program budgets for grant applications.
  • Create a budget sheet, template, and details.

Grants

  • Assist with grant research, material development, and grant writing.
  • Search for grants that fit the program description.
  • Develop a database of grants and potential funders.
  • Use grant template to create a standard grant proposal.

Time, Tools, Location

  • We work off Eastern Standard Time
  • We do not have set hours per week.
  • We work off weekly check-ins. We expect you as a volunteer to manage your hours to meet check-ins.
  • All Volunteering positions will be held virtual (Zoom)
  • This is a remote volunteer opportunity.
  • Meaning you can be located anywhere in the United States provided you have a computer and a reliable internet connection.
  • This opportunity is flexible. However, we will work on the deadlines needed to ensure a successful grant submission.

Preferred Qualifications and skills:

  • Be willing to experiment, comfortable trying new things, and not afraid to fail and interested in health and wellness education in relation to recovery.
  • Time management, Interpersonal skills, Strong people skills., Organizational skills, Ability to meet deadlines, Ability to work independently and with a team.

Description

Finish-Well Ministries, Inc. mission aims to create a safe, stable, disciplined in-patient substructure for those who will dedicate themselves to living a faith-based life recovering from the devastating consequences of substance abuse disorder and alcoholism.

Our comprehensive and relevant initiatives at Finish-Well Ministries involve community services, Facilitating understanding of substance use disorder treatment and the recovery processes, relapse prevention education, counseling, spiritual development and support, work therapy, social and professional support, and good health and vegetarian diet implementation.

In addition to our direct initiatives for men and women with substance use disorder in our communities, we also aim to provide our skills and expertise to persons, groups, organizations, and businesses who wish to utilize the Finish-Well Ministries model in targeting areas where they want to make a difference
