Day & Time: The 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.

Delivery Location: 980 N. Clinton Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621

Supplies: Supplies may be donated by the volunteer/group or may be provided by the organization via arranged dropoff or pick up. Needed supplies include; 100 sandwich bags. 10-12 loaves of bread (depending on # of slices per loaf,) 2-64 oz large jars of peanut butter, 4-32oz jars of jelly. Optional supplies that can be donated or supplied include; 100 brown paper lunch bags, 100 juice pouches, and 200 portions of individually wrapped snacks, eg. chips, crackers, fruit snacks, cookies, etc.

Requirements: Prepare 100 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Optional: Bag 100 lunches. Each lunch includes 1 sandwich, 1 juice pouch, and 2 individually wrapped portions of snack.

Description: Something the whole family can help with is making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the lunches given out during our Sunday outreach operations. Volunteers/groups have the option of providing us with just sandwiches or bagging entire lunches. When only sandwiches are provided, the lunches are bagged by our volunteers at the start of outreach operations on Sunday mornings. Supplies can be provided to you via drop-off by one of our other volunteers or by making arrangements to pick up supplies at our storage unit. Pre-arranged pickups of sandwiches/lunches may be able to be arranged for Saturday evenings or Sunday mornings in instances where the volunteer is unable to deliver to the outreach location.

Commitment Length: No commitment is necessary. You may sign up for as many or as few weeks as you like.
