Help maintain the beautiful views at Joshua Tree National Park !


Volunteers will join park staff to perform roadside brushing along several miles of Park Boulevard. Volunteers will use hand tools to trim vegetation then stash it out of sight in locations that have uneven terrain.


Applicants must have personal transportation, be able to use common landscaping tools with training, hike 5 miles on uneven terrain, lift and carry 25 pounds repeatedly, bend and stand repeatedly, and must not have severe seasonal allergies.


We are recruiting 6-10 volunteers for each day. Volunteers must commit to at least one full work day, but we are happy to accept volunteers that can support more. Work days are:

Tuesday 2/15, 8am - 2pm

Wednesday 2/16, 8am - 2pm

Thursday 2/17, 8am - 2pm


Local recruitment only - applicants must live in the Morongo Basin: Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, Pioneertown, Landers, or Morongo Valley.
