Mission Statement

Your Forest Grove Habitat for Humanity ReStore exists to provide monetary resources for West Tuality Habitat for Humanity, in the affiliate’s mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. The ReStore accepts donations of used furniture and building materials, adds value to those items when possible, then resells them to the general public. After covering store expenses, all funds go to West Tuality Habitat to use in building low-cost, affordable housing in our community.

Description

We resell donated home decor, home furnishings, appliances, garden supplies, building materials, and other assorted items. We repair items when we can. We also receive a large amount of art, antiques and collectables that we research and evaluate. In addition, we are a recycling site for many items such as paint and electronics.

We do many events throughout the year as well as community outreach such as Earth Day, Customer Appreciation, After Hours Art Nights, booths at the Forest Grove Farmers Market and other local events, and DIY classes.

Volunteer positions include donation intake and processing, cashiering, stocking, pick up and delivery, housekeeping, merchandising, art/collectable appraisal & research, event support and more. We will find the best spot for you in our ReStore family.
