Pacific Symphony is the premier Symphonic orchestra in Orange County. Through exceptional musical performances, educational opportunities and community programming, Pacific Symphony inspires, engages and serves the Orange County community and Southern CA region.

Pacific Symphony has an immediate need for a Volunteer or Intern who wants to assist with our Diversity, Equality, Belonging and Inclusion planning work as the Symphony creates a roadmap to intentionally address these topics throughout our organization. The volunteer or intern will work closely with Pacific Symphony's President and his Executive Assistant.

Assignments for this role will include: organizational planning, meeting scheduling and coordinating, taking and distributing notes, creating position descriptions, editing DEBI documents in compliance with the Pacific Symphony Style Guide, and assisting with organizational strategic planning meetings in a similar manner.

Important skills to possess for this role include: fluency with Zoom, aptitude with DoodlePoll, meeting organization, ease with Office/Word/Excel and excellent spoken and written language (English).

If you have experience as an Executive Assistant and possess the skills mentioned above, this position is perfect for you!

All candidates must be local to Orange County. All candidates must be able to volunteer/intern in our Irvine office during normal office hours (9am-5pm) and frequently use Zoom for early and late meetings. The time commitment is approximately 10+ hours per week.
