Volunteers are needed to assist students from our programs and clients from the shelter in the Education Workforce and Development computer lab. Volunteers should know how to use the computer well enough to help students log on, navigate through Microsoft Word, apply for jobs online and provide assistance setting up new email accounts. Responsibilities may include helping students with the computer, monitor activity on computer screens and answering questions about how to use the computer. This opportunity is available Monday through Wednesday 1:30-3:30. Contact to sign up for a specific shift. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. The Center of Hope located at 2015 26th Ave. N. Birmingham, Al. 35234.
