Image_202105261320

Adults need help to gain basic literacy skills that will enable them to succeed in life.

Warren County Community Services Adult New Readers program trains volunteer tutors to teach basic English language skills (reading and writing) and English as a second language to adults age 18 and over.

Tutors and students are matched within their communities and meet in local libraries and other public buildings. They may also meet through video conferencing. Tutors receive a three-hour training as well as all teaching materials.

RSVP of Warren County connects people who are age 55+ to local volunteer opportunities. Once we receive your completed membership form to join RSVP, you will be connected to the Program Manager for the Adult New Readers program.
