VOLUNTEER DETAILS:

The Live Nation Entertainment Lab at the SoLa Technology and Entrepreneurship Center seeks to train and inspire the next generation of live entertainment event professionals from South Los Angeles’s Black and brown communities. As a Live Nation Next Gen guest speaker, you will have the unique opportunity to share your professional expertise in live entertainment with young aspiring entertainment professionals from South LA. Every week will consist of an introduction, expert speaker, interactive activities and planning sessions.

The program provides an introduction to foundational elements of live entertainment production, theory and strategy, hands-on skills training, marketing, production and sponsorships - and with your support we can expose students to career pathways and skill sets they otherwise would not have access to. The course culminates in a student-run live music festival, and each week will focus on various career paths in live entertainment for students to reference in real time as they develop and finalize their performance details and operations.
