We are looking for volunteers who:
- Can serve as a positive role model for foster and at-risk youth
- Are passionate about uplifting youth who have suffered from abuse, neglect, and trauma
- Are willing to dedicate one recurring weekend day each month for 7 months
- Enjoy the outdoors and recreational activities
Volunteers must:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Commit to all 7 outings, taking place on a weekend day each month for 7 months
- Provide all required documentation upon application, including DMV record and proof of car insurance
- Be willing to complete a background check
- Attend Trauma & Safety Training prior to participating in the program
- Attend our Water Safety Course
- Complete a 2 hour training course to become a mandated reporter
