Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex needs 4 volunteers for their Space Race to benefit United Way of Brevard. The Space Race is a 3K walk/run throughout Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex that benefits the United Way of Brevard. The walk/run journeys participants around the historic Rocket Garden featuring nine authentic rockets, the booster stack that graces the entryway to Space Shuttle Atlantis(r) and to Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame(r).
Race Day is Friday, January 21, 2022.
Race Start Time: 6:30 pm
Volunteer Start Time: 5:30 pm
Volunteer End Time: 8:00 pm
Responsibilities: Water tent, info tables, help with race route and more!

Brevard County's United Way has been in operation since 1957. For 50 years we have supported our member agencies and promoted the coordination and management of volunteers. We are very involved in disaster preparation and response, financial education, support for our 2-1-1 and helping to develop future leaders.
