Walk on Water is a non-profit ministry dedicated to giving individuals the opportunity to experience and bond in a safe and loving environment. We are committed to teaching responsibility, self-confidence, teamwork, and communication skills with the help of our horse partners. We are looking for volunteers to feed horses, turn them in and out of pastures and assist with barn chores. No experience needed. Volunteers go through a brief orientation and hands on training with staff. They will be accompanied by staff and other volunteers during their shifts. Individuals and families of volunteers are welcomed and encouraged to join us. The minimum age for volunteering is 13 years old, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian. We especially need assistance on Friday mornings from 7-12 for our lesson day. We offer opportunities to assume more responsibility such as becoming a head feeder.
