Encompass Health Hospice is bringing dignity and comfort home through compassionate end-of-life care.
At Encompass Health Hospice a coordinated team of caring professional hospice experts are dedicated to providing physical, psychological, spiritual and emotional comfort to patients and their loved ones.
Our team includes volunteers that provide non-medical services and communication to let Hospice patients and family know they are not alone.
In office help is needed to continue this care.
If you are detailed oriented, love organization and have a couple of hours a week this opportunity is for you.
This Encompass volunteer sends mailings and cards to clients and their families from our Lee's Summit office.
It allows volunteers to design new ways of communication that lets patients and clients feel loved.
Encompass Health Hospice values the generosity of our volunteers; we provide training an on-going support.
This volunteer sets a schedule that works for them.

Our goal is for our volunteers to assist the families in the way they need it most. There is no cookie cutter approach. We individualize care to guide our patients and loved one through the end-of-life-process.
