This position supports the Division (DIV) Services to the Armed Forces (SAF) team. This is a remote (volunteer-from-home opportunity). Manage Hero Care Network Region Teams to provide military members, families and veterans with casework services ensuring that casework meets the organizational standards. Provide training, guidance and Quality Assurance support to regional caseworkers; monitor metrics associated with the case management system to include ECM/FA and CCS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support at the division level
  • Support Hero Care Network team at the Division, Region and Hero Care Call Center
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of any case notes, names and other personal information in accordance with Red Cross policies
  • Understand and apply Service to Armed Forces (SAF) policies, procedures and protocols related to Red Cross client services consistently and correctly Lead and develop Division Caseworker team
  • Perform Quality Assurance and corrective follow-up
  • Analyze casework data to identify trends and gaps in training
  • May process case management system access/permissions for region caseworkers
  • Attend NHQ/Division/Region meetings as needed
  • Ensure organizational casework standards are being met
  • Uphold the values and principles of the American Red Cross
  • Successful American Red Cross background check
  • Able to work with culturally diverse populations
  • Able to work with and manage volunteers
  • Strong computer skills to include use of Internet search tools and web-based applications
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective telephone etiquette and interviewing skills
  • Ability to work with a team and independently
  • Able to lead a team
  • Program/Project Management skills recommended but not required
