Recruiting Organization: South Michigan Food Bank

In honor of Dr. King’s legacy of service, Congress designated Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a national day of service in 1994. Each year, people celebrate the third Monday in January as "a day on, not a day off" and volunteer in their communities.

Join South Michigan Food Bank for this annual day of service and help #FeedSouthMichigan

We are looking for volunteers to help us sort and pack produce in our Fresh Food Boxes. These contain 20+ pounds of fresh fruits, vegetables and other shelf stable items. Once the boxes are packed, they will be distributed to families in need in our eight county service area.
