Time commitment : Will vary depending on current projects. We estimate approximately 4 or 5 hours weekly, or 16 to 20 hours monthly.
Dates of service : Prefer someone who will stay and grow with the organization longer term. Minimum one semester (or three months) commitment requested.
Position role:
- Take (or acquire from royalty-free sources) photographs and post to Instagram account at least weekly. Photos should be taken primarily in Mass, both Eastern and Central
- Advise about other social media tools (such as TikTok) that might be appropriate for FRC in the future.
Benefits:
- We know that "exposure" doesn’t pay the rent (or the tuition) and that money would be the best benefit of all. We aren’t at the stage where we can pay (yet), but know that we understand that we are asking you to donate your labor-and that is a big ask. Here are a few of the benefits we *can* offer:
- Become visible in your local nonprofit food rescue community.
- Showcase your marketing and creative talents.
- Stay updated with current events in the food rescue community.
- Work with a very diverse group of people who love to provide good references and referrals for your job well done!
