Volunteer virtually with Junior Achievement and act as a role model and mentor for at-risk youth! Our volunteers will beam into the classroom via Zoom to present fun and educational JA content created by Junior Achievement focused on Grade Level Specific Financial Literacy and career exploration. Volunteers share their personal and professional career journey and teach our JA curriculum.
The students and educators are virtual and your educator will assist with student coordination. Students learn as they participate in fun activities that reinforce the concepts you teach them.
Volunteers are needed for kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th grades.
Requirements:
- Attend a 90 minute virtual or in-person JA volunteer training and spend 2 to 3 hours prepping prior to the JA Day.
- Access to a reliable computer with video camera
- Ability to utilize Zoom to deliver lessons

It’s our responsibility to empower future generations - to equip them with the skills and knowledge to be successful and pursue their dreams. These are our kids, grandchildren, our future colleagues, and community leaders. The success of our economy depends on their preparedness.
With the support of thousands of education, business, and volunteer partners, we are giving kids the tools to succeed. Our volunteer mentors from the community teach students about the importance of money management, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurial thinking. Arming today’s youth with this critical education will result in less financial instability and debt, a better-trained workforce, a more robust economy, and healthier families.
