- Purpose This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Information Technology (IT) team. This is a 100% virtual (volunteer-from-home) opportunity. The Volunteer Connection User Acceptance Tester is responsible for conducting in-depth user acceptance testing of Volunteer Connection features before each quarterly software release.
- Responsibilities
- Perform detailed user acceptance testing for Volunteer Connection before every quarterly system release.
- Document detailed test results to help the team quickly reproduce issues and identify a fix.
- Perform testing multiple times until all issues pass testing.
- Qualifications
Required:
- Experience working in Volunteer Connection and a familiarity with various parts of the system as an administrator
- Willingness to learn the system to fill in any knowledge gaps
- Experience doing software user acceptance testing
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Comfortable with technology and various computer operating systems or internet browsers
- Reliable access to a computer and Internet access.
- Reliable access to a telephone for occasional phone calls necessary for training and updates
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
- Resume is required.

REQUIREMENTS
- Position requires a weekly commitment of at least 8-10 hours per week, for several weeks leading up to the quarterly system release. Availability during business hours (Monday - Friday, 9:00 am-5:00pm EST) required. NOTE: There will b
