  • Purpose This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Disaster Cycle Services (DCS) department. This is a 100% remote (volunteer-from-home) position. The monthly Mass Care Webinar is open to all Red Cross employees and volunteers interested in learning about important updates regarding sheltering, reunification, feeding and distribution of emergency supplies. The purpose of this position is to create engaging and memorable presentations for the monthly national Mass Care Webinars. Working in PowerPoint, edit presenter slides by applying design principles and adding graphical elements.
  • Responsibilities

    This position is responsible for adding graphic design elements and editing 60-80 PowerPoint slides every month for the national Mass Care Webinar. 300+ participants attend the webinars on the third Thursday of the month, 2-3:30 pm ET.

    Responsibilities:

    • Make PowerPoint presentations engaging and memorable -- Make content leap off the screen
    • Negotiate edits with presenters
    • Edit/wordsmith PowerPoint slides and Q&A Word document.
    • Original content creation not required
    • Attend monthly Mass Care Webinars (1.5 hours) and After Action Reviews (1 hour) if available
