TJACH is seeking volunteer support for our annual Point-in-Time Count, a nation-wide project aimed at better understanding the size of scope of people experiencing homelessness and the need for shelter and housing.

On January 26th and 27th, we are looking for volunteer support to conduct brief interviews with people experiencing unsheltered homelessness (living outside or in a car, etc.). We will conduct these interviews at different service locations throughout the community and where people tend to congregate or sleep unsheltered.

You can view the times/locations where we need volunteer support through VolunteerMatch, as well as sign up for shifts.

We will be asking that all volunteers be vaccinated and wear masks at all times when volunteering.

We will hold virtual training sessions on the following dates:

  • Thursday, January 20th 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM
  • Friday, January 21st 3:00 PM to 4:30PM

Please sign up for one of these training sessions here: https://forms.gle/ Xn3cZYU17gaYReCM8

If neither training session works for your schedule, or if you have any questions about the project, you can reach out to Sarah at sarah@tjach.org.
