Do you enjoy planning events? Do you want to donate your time and event-planning skills to a great organization doing important work in the community? SOAR365 invites you to join our SummerFest Event Planning Committee!
Volunteers are needed to help plan and execute SOAR365’s annual SummerFest All-Abilities Festival, a signature event of our Next Generation Council that highlights local community resources for people with disabilities. The event is free to the public and takes place at PARK365, an all-abilities park located in Richmond.
Planning committee volunteers are asked to attend monthly meetings (February-June) virtually and in person to help manage event logistics and implementation.
Tasks include:
- Helping to plan event logistics
- Helping to solicit donations
- Helping to coordinate participating partners
- Helping to coordinate food and beverage vendors
- Helping to recruit volunteers
Ideally, all volunteers would also work the event on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
