The Silicon Valley Walk to End Alzheimer's planning committee seeks an Executive Event Chair.

Are you an Executive who wants a volunteer leadership role? Are you a leader who wants to give back to your community and engage your company and employees? Do you have an extensive network that you can tap into? Are you ready to lead a team of like-minded peers to help us grow our event? If you answered yes to any of these questions, read on.

The Silicon Valley Walk to End Alzheimer's was the top Walk in the Country in 2020. When the Top 30 Walks are announced in Mid January, we fully expect to be on the top of the leaderboard again. We are seeking a Dynamic Executive to lead our Executive Leadership Team and help us build our Corporate Sponsorships and Teams to maintain our top spot in 2022. • Help recruit and lead the Executive Leadership Team to secure sponsorship and company teams.
  • Become an Elite Grand Champions Club member.
  • Work with staff leadership to secure next year's Event Chair.

Length of Involvement: 12 - 18 months

Responsibilities

  • Participate in four Executive Leadership Team meetings.
  • Attend Company Team Kickoff and Walk to End Alzheimer's.
  • Work closely with your staff partner to ensure the success of the event.
