Make an impact in hospice patients lives, provide companionship, comfort and peace during the end stage of life.
Share your talents and skills during a tough transition in life with patients and their families.

Join us in brining SUNSHINE to a hospice patient through volunteer work, one visit makes a huge difference in patients everyday lives.
Our patients are in need of companionship we offer a variety of ways you can help achieve comfort and companionship to our patients whether it is face to face or virtually. We have something for everyone.

Here are some examples of what volunteers do:

-Provide respite care for family members/other caregivers
-Provide bereavement support
-1:1 Companionship (in person or virtual)
- Help administration/ behind the scenes volunteer work
-Internship opportunities available upon request
-Read to patients
-Engage in life review
-Art and crafts (Our patients love this stuff!)
-Talk about anything and everything with patients (They always have great life advice!)
-
-Art therapy, Reiki, pet therapy, Aroma Therapy, Music therapy(all therapies welcome!)


We offer flexible, variety of hours and a life-changing opportunity.

Our main office is located in Arvada, but we have patients in all surrounding cities!

We advocate for the rights of terminally ill patients and their families, because of that we recognize the importance of providing comfort and hope to patients and their families on their sacred journey by affirming their dignity and honoring their wishes. We believe in a holistic approach to care by serving the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of the client and their family members and our primary goal is to relieve suffering in all of these areas. We pride ourselves with the special services we offer.
