In collaboration with L.A. Works & LAUSD, this virtual teacher appreciation event is the perfect opportunity to recognize teachers for their dedication. It is so important this year to recognize teachers’ hard work considering the flexibility they have shown while educating children in the middle of a pandemic. Volunteers will be hearing from local teachers about the issues they face and ways in which volunteers can provide ongoing support. They will also write letters/cards of appreciation for teachers and shop online for teacher supplies to send to school/teacher lists.
