Volunteers with great customer services skills are needed to help our patients/clients/visitors at NorthPoint find the resources they need on our campus. Available shifts are Monday through Friday 8am-10am, 10am-2pm and 2pm-5pm. We hope volunteers to sign up for a minimum of one shift per week for 3 months.
Volunteers will greet visitors, offer assistance finding the correct office/reception desk to go to, walk them to their destination as needed, and answer any general questions about NorthPoint programs and services. A Resource Guide and Training are provided. Volunteers will also ask a series of covid-19 questions and assist patients to Urgent Care for testing if need be.
Do you speak Somali, Spanish or Hmong? Come flex those language skills while helping our customers! English-only speakers are welcome too.

Description
NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center is a comprehensive health and human services agency located in the heart of North Minneapolis. NorthPoint is comprised of two organizations: a community services nonprofit with a broad array of social and human services (NorthPoint Inc.); and a full service community health center (NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center) that includes medical, dental and behavioral health clinics. NorthPoint seeks to reduce health disparities, improve health outcomes, and enhance the overall quality of life for all residents of North Minneapolis by providing high quality medical, dental and behavioral health care, along with integrated social services such as its food shelf, housing resources and domestic violence services -- with respect, dignity and sensitivity to a culturally rich and ethnically diverse community.
