We are a young non-profit with a mission of helping the most vulnerable in our community, mainly the unhoused and those with low-income, who lack access to the basic needs of food and shelter, and assist them in moving towards self sufficiency.
We are looking for help with setting up QuickBooks and to help us prepare for our tax filing.
If you care about the population we are helping, and are good with accounting and taxes we would love to hear from you.
Experience with tax filing for non-profits would be a great help!

Description
Goals and programs for the unhoused and low-income members of our community:
-Provide means of sustenance through distribution of essential items such as meals, clothing, hygiene items etc.
-Assist with connections to resources and services that are available through governmental and other nonprofit organizations such as VI-SPDAT, ID cards, access to healthcare etc.
-Assist in moving towards self sufficiency by helping get job ready, a commitment to education or by other means.
AND
Educate the community & its leaders on the challenge of homelessness, how it affects our community, and advocate effective solutions such as "housing first", mobile showers and mental health solutions.
