Roswell Adaptive Volunteer Experience: RAVE

This introductory level class incorporates fun aquatic activities designed to increase strength, flexibility, and endurance. Program is held in a warm water therapy pool.

Volunteers help with:
set-up and breakdown
one on one support (must be comfortable being physically close to participants)
assisting and encouraging with water activities

-->Volunteer must be comfortable in the water.

This is a fun program and a great way to get service hours :)

Mission Statement

The City of Roswell Recreation and Parks focuses on offering new and innovative programming specifically designed for children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities. We use leisure opportunities in ways that enhance their health, functional abilities, independence, and quality of life. Our goal is to promote inclusion, build recreational skills, and HAVE FUN!


We have a variety of programs such as adaptive aquatics, yoga, tennis, baseball, basketball, and bocce, as well as social events. Join youth and adults as they participate in these recreation programs. All volunteers must submit an application prior to volunteering. Email for more info.
