Volunteer Co-Coordinator: We are looking for a Co-Coordinator who is willing to work with our Volunteer Coordinator. Our event covers the entire Shoreline Village area as well as the Long Beach CA shoreline with the 5K and Patients & Family Walk and other activities. Volunteer Co-Coordinators have to help with the recruitment of 40-60 volunteers, creating an assignment document for the day of the event, and training them at Shoreline Village 4/24 and 4/25 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

The day of March for Marrow you will be responsible for making sure that all activities are covered with as many of the volunteers as show up and that they understand the importance of taking care of all attendees and their family members.

We will train you via Zoom prior to the event during the month of April 2024.

All Volunteers receive a t-shirt and a parking coupon worth $8.00 toward parking on April 27, 2024.

  • Must be at least 20
  • Orientation or Training
  • Recruiting volunteers and scheduling will require about 3 hours per week until 4/15, at which time work will increase to 5 hours per week until 4/27. Co-Coordinators will commit to leading the Volunteer Orientation 4/24 and 4/25/2024.
