Volunteers needed in Cass County to lead in-person technology classes for older adults.

Volunteer network for people aged 55+ through AmeriCorps Seniors. Focusing on Iowa counties of Cass, Fremont, Harrison, Iowa, Keokuk, Louisa, Mahaska, Monona, Montgomery, Poweshiek, Shelby and Woodbury.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 55
  • Orientation or Training
  • Training will take a few hours. Then commitment to lead a series of classes 45-60 minutes each.
  • Must be comfortable facilitating from a curriculum and assisting older adults with technology.
