Legend Hospice is looking for creators; people who love to do arts & crafts; sew, knit, quilt, draw, paint, scrapbook, crochet, bake, origami and the list could continue.
Make a Memory Bear, bake cupcakes, paint a picture to brighten a patient's room. There are so many ways creative arts can bless hospice patients and their families and bring a smile to the face of a patient who may not be able to leave their room.
Colorful bibs, prayer rocks, prayer shawls, birthday or holiday cards, holiday decor, lap blankets, fidget blankets, paintings, book marks, Kleenex box covers are just a few of the items that can remind a patient that they are not forgotten every time they look at or use the item. Often, these items become keepsakes for the family when the patient is gone.
This is the opportunity you have been looking for! Join our team of crafters today. Your next step toward volunteering is to complete this application: Craft Volunteer Application.
Once we receive your application someone on our team will reach out to you about current specific needs.
