Are you looking for a fun way to help instill a love of reading and writing in a child from the comfort of your home?

Oasis Intergenerational Tutoring is seeking volunteers to write letters to 2nd grade students in the New Bloomfield R-3 School district. Tutors work with students who need extra reading help using a six-step approach to literacy that emphasizes improved reading, speaking, listening, and writing.

The Oasis Intergenerational Tutoring program is the widest-reaching older adult tutoring program in the U.S. It has reached more than 485,000 children over the last 30 years.

Training and all supplies are provided.
