The S.A.F.E. Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission focuses on providing gluten free and allergy-friendly food to those in need and raising awareness of that need. This all-volunteer organization seeks a Graphic Designer to design clear, engaging graphic communications for print and the web.
The Graphic Design volunteer will be responsible for creating engaging content that may include logos, direct mail pieces, branded promotional items, website and social media graphics, posters, flyers, and other marketing materials as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Design templates for social media on a case-by-case basis;
- Assist with gaining a consistent brand across all social media platforms;
- Translating branding strategies into design strategies;
- Designing visual concepts using graphic design tools including design software;
- Selecting colors, fonts, photographs, layouts and other design elements to communicate creative concepts, consistent with branding guidelines;
- Articulating and pitching design concepts to Executive Director and Board;
- Prepare brief monthly reports and maintain regular contact with supervisor;
- Attend Board and Committee meetings as needed.
