Position Summary
To resource and care for Wycliffe missionaries and their families at JAARS, US and globally. To Increase missionary longevity and prepare the next generation of Christian leaders. This will result in better transitions, increased member retention and increased mobilization.
Time Commitment: Volunteer - open to discussion
Position Responsibilities
- Lead high school programs and the weekly high school youth group
- Disciple MKs in grades 9-12 primarily at JAARS, but also those living remotely
- Assist with general youth activities
- Consult with those assigned to JAARS, SIL entities and others in the family of organizations.
Position Requirements
- A deep and growing walk with the Lord Jesus that includes your personal spiritual growth and the ability to support others in their spiritual growth
- Embrace the vision, mission and core values of JAARS
- Demonstrate a desire and ability to support corporate Biblical and religious goals and participate in regular work-related spiritual activities
- A desire to work as a member of the youth team and be a team player
- Exercise a willingness to donate time and talent to this work

Description
JAARS is a multidisciplinary team of problem-solvers committed to the belief--and the vision--that people’s lives and communities are transformed as they experience God’s Word in their own language.
We are a community of full-time missionaries, dedicated volunteers, and a few employees who work together to accomplish the Great Commission goal of providing Scripture to every people group on earth in a language and form they clearly understand. We do that by supporting Bible translation and language development partners globally, and by working with prayer and financial partners in the United States to help make a range of unique on-the-field solutions possible.
