This role involves making a friendly 30-min call every week to an isolated and lonely member of our community. Calls are made remotely and based around the schedule's of both parties. The calls are completely informal and not script-based, so allow a natural relationship to blossom amongst Befriender and Befriendee. This project runs for 6 months and there is an option of meeting with your Befriendee in person if that's something both parties would enjoy.
Full training is provided via ZOOM beforehand and we will check in with volunteers regularly to make sure everything is running well.
