Recruiting Organization: TeamUP Science
Y-STEAM is a brand-new program offered by TeamUP Science in partnership with the Northern Alberta YMCA that aims to engage elementary-age students in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Weekly experiments will be designed for up to 90 students ages 5-12 and performed at 3 different YMCA locations.
Designer positions are open to individuals from all across Canada! Designers will work in teams of 2 to create 8-12 interactive activities over a period of 5 months. If you are creative and enjoy collaboration with others, this is the opportunity for you!
Preference will be given to individuals who live in the Edmonton area and will be able to travel to demonstrations, however volunteers from anywhere in Canada are welcome to apply!
