We are looking for experienced and creative instructors in any genre of dance, to help us pilot a "virtual" dance team for SoulPhamm (please visit www.soulphamm.org) for details on our organization.

During the pandemic last year, one of our in-person dance teams was forced to do their practice via Zoom. Although we were apprehensive at first, practices went very well and by the time we began meeting in person again, the girls were well prepared for an upcoming event that we had practiced. We only needed to do staging and some last minute touch-ups.

The program was so successful that we decided to pilot a fully-remote dance program for girls ages 8 to 18. We are now beginning recruitment for this program and anticipate that the participants will trend more towards girls ages 8-12. We anticipate 10 girls who live in New Jersey and New York.

We are looking for teachers experienced in: Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical/Modern, Hip-Hop, Salsa, African (or any cultural dance) to add to the girls' online program. The girls will meet on Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm and Fridays from 6pm to 7pm. We only need instructors to teach for one hour, bi-weekly via Zoom and have the following slots available -

Thursdays 6pm to 7pm (two slots left)
Thursdays 7pm to 8pm (one slot left)
Fridays 6pm to 7pm (two slots left)

Also participating in the program will be two high-school aged girls from New Jersey and New York who will be tasked with learning the choreography that you teach and assisting on days when you cannot be available.

You will be preparing the girls for showcases that will happen in May and June. We will bring the girls together for in-person practices beginning in March and the high-school students will lead those practices.

Coaching experience is not required, but you should be fully able to teach whatever genre you're applying for, to a group of eager young ladies who will likely be beginners. Please fully specify which genre you are applying to teach when you reach out and also tell us which schedule you would like. No phone calls please.
