We are looking for an experienced and talented artist who is experienced with illustration and animation to help us create a short cartoon video in honor of our Co-Founder Coach Lou Herrera. The video will be shown at his annual basketball tournament in June (6/25/22) and will be featured in a documentary that is being done on the organization.
We have a "storyline", we just need someone to help us bring it to life. This work can be done completely virtually with ongoing communication with our Director (his widow) via email and/or Zoom as needed.
The artist will be credited with his/her work and promoted accordingly. Candidates must have samples of their work.

The mission of MJHS is to aid in the provision of quality education and sound character building programs for young people.
Description
Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
